Kevin Cummins is a celebrated British photographer best known for his atmospheric black-and-white images that defined the visual identity of the Manchester music scene, particularly through his iconic portraits of Joy Division, The Smiths, and Oasis. As the chief photographer for NME for over a decade, his documentary-style work was instrumental in capturing the spirit of the post-punk and Britpop eras, cementing his status as one of the world’s most respected music photographers.
