Gallery 270 is thrilled to announce “Nature In Love” our first solo show by Cy DeCosse, featuring work from nine of his unique portfolios. Cy will be our honored guest for the opening reception, Thursday, November 12, from 7 – 9 PM. The contemporary photographs are made employing a range of vintage photographic processes including platinum/palladium, three color gum dichromate, and hand pulled photogravures. Cy creates intimate images that depict commonplace flowers, fruits, vegetables, and even weeds in a surprising new light. He hand paints backgrounds that “float” the subject in a world of its own.
